A new home. For all creatures, great and small.

We are delighted to announce that RSPCA South Australia, and all the animals in our care, will have a new home and headquarters in 2024.

Located less than 20km from the Adelaide CBD at Glenthorne National Park -  Ityamaiitpinna Yarta, it will be SA's first, integrated animal care campus and home to:

  • a brand new animal care facility to replace the dated shelter at Lonsdale and new veterinary clinic
  • our State's first, large-scale hospital dedicated to native wildlife
  • an education hub for schools, community and partner groups
  • new operations HQ putting our Inspectors and Rescue team on the same campus as our veterinary and animal care operations

Keep scrolling to hear more about the vision from our President, Mr Rob DiMonte or click the TOUR button below for the latest progress video and a walk-through with our CEO, Marcus Gehrig.
